The Must-Try List

Four burgers we'd put in front of a first-timer — and the honest reason for each one.

The Must-Try List — burger from Best Burgers Liverpool NSW

Long menus are a problem when you're hungry. So here's the short version: four burgers, each one there for a different reason, straight off our board in Liverpool NSW.

The Wagyu Smash Royale $20.00

The full royal treatment

Smashed wagyu beef, crisp lettuce, tomato, caramelised onion, Americano cheddar, fresh pickles, truffle and premium BBQ sauce on a Best Burger bun.

The one to order when you want the richest thing on the board. Wagyu smashed hard so the whole surface caramelises — the fat does the work, not the sauce.

Alpine Brisket Burger $12.00

Slow cooked, charcoal bun

Slow cooked smokey pulled beef, apple slaw, pickles, yellow cheese, fungi, Signature BBQ and truffle sauce on a charcoal bun.

Slow-cooked brisket on a jet-black charcoal bun. It looks unlike anything else we serve and it eats softer and deeper than a smashed patty.

Camel Burger $16.00

You won't find it everywhere

Premium camel patty, fresh lettuce, tomato, melted cheese and chipo-mayo on a Best Burger bun.

You genuinely won't see this on many boards. Leaner than beef, a little more mineral, and worth trying once purely so you know what it tastes like.

Halloumi Stacks Burger $12.00

Squeaky, salty, stacked

Fresh grilled halloumi, wild fungi, crisp lettuce, juicy tomato and a creamy Verde-aioli on a Best Burger bun.

The vegetarian pick that doesn't feel like a compromise: squeaky, salty grilled halloumi stacked properly rather than hidden under salad.

If you only order one

Take the wagyu. It's the clearest example of how we cook: a hard smash, a real crust, and nothing on top that gets in the way. Everything else on this list is the one you order on the second visit.
